Public Awareness and Assistance Cell:
A separate cell is working in the Head Office of the Board since 1996 to educate the people on the importance of environmental protection and for redressing complaints of the public on pollution problems. The redressal of such complaints is being co-ordinated by this cell.

Mass Education:
The Board is actively promoting public awareness on environmental issues and pollution problems. The Board is publishing a quarterly news letter called "PARISTHITHI VAARTHA".

This publication is made available, free of cost, to over thousand subscribers. In addition dissemination of information on environment related issues is being attempted through lectures, seminars, symposia, radio and T.V. programmes, hoarding, stickers, leaflets etc.
